| | Supposed-to-be a smash hit movie, Spiderman 3 has been spied with 16 bloopers and might be awarded as 2007’s Most Mistake-Laden Movie. The big-screen’s superhero, Tobey Maguire, has been spotted with continuity issues about his costume, hairstyle and the ever-changing conditions of the weather. Here are some of them:
In a classic Sandman vs. Spiderman fight scene, a Cleveland, Ohio landmark acting as the backdrop of the battle can be seen. It should not be there since New York City was supposedly where the battle happened. It was the tower. As a continuation in that bell tower, the scene should be raining and so, should be dark outside. But in the church below where Eddie Brock is praying at the same time, all the stained glass windows are lit up and brightness of the sun outside can be seen through the front door.
The whole body of Flint Marco, including all the metal he was wearing, turned into sand but not his locket. A set of tubes connected to a medical device can be seen beside Harry’s pillow. But in the following shots, the device was gone and only the tubes were there. But in the later scene, the medical device was back.
While CGI Peter fell in a fight against Venom, his hair remained stiff. In a later scene, Spiderman broke the cement-sealed sewerage cover. But later in the bank robbery scene, he managed to squeeze himself into the sewer hole without breaking the cement seal.
Several scenes in the film are Spiderman’s costume seen jutting out from the top of his shirt, both the black version and red-blue version. In each of these scenes, the spider emblem is smaller and farther up near his neck. But every time he switches into full Spiderman costume, the emblem returns to its original large size and farther down his chest. |
