In the olden times, HellBoy’s earthly existence started with a meeting which even included Adolf Hitler and a group of top NAZI occultists. After which , HellBoy was moved and raised inside the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense, which is a new U.S government agency that is dedicated in fighting a looming occult menace. Hence, the BPRD file vaults read as if it was a secret history of the modern era.
The development and growth of HellBoy corresponds the BPRD formation, in which, this super secret arm of the government depended on him. His ability to handle the threat from the supernatural is the key to the success of the BPRD’s primary mission. HellBoy II with a signature blend of action, humor and character based spectacle, upholds the saga of the world’s toughest, and kitten loving hero from hell as his humanity continues to unfold. Now, he has a bigger muscle, better weapons and ungodly villains have arrived in an epic vision of imagination from the Oscar nominated director Guillermo Del Toro. Following an ancient truce that exists between humankind and the invisible realm of the fantastic, when it was broken, Hell on earth is ready to erupt. Hence, a cruel leader who treads the world above and the one underneath defies his considered bloodline, and eventually awakens the inevitable defense forces of these relentless creatures. Now, it’s up to the planet’s toughest and roughest superhero to battle the cold blooded dictator and his marauders. HellBoy may be red, he may be horned and sometimes misunderstood but when you need the job done right, it’s time to call him in. Along with HellBoy’s team in the conceptualized Bureau for Paranormal Research and Development includes Liz, his awesome pyrokinetic girlfriend, aquatic empathic Abe and the protoplasmic mystic Johann. With these heroes, BPRD will travel between the surface strata and the unseen magical one, where in, creatures of fantasy become corporeal. HellBoy, a creature from two different worlds needs to choose between the actual life he treads and an indefinite destiny which beckons him. The only slip up resulted from the F.B.I who was forced to reveal the existence of BPRD to the general public, where in, an aggressive old HellBoy doesn’t play well with the public. This, in turn, increased the instability of his relationship with his girlfriend Liz. However, his fellow paranormal Johann is far better with the public and with Liz. Apparently, in the end, they all need to come together to fight Prince Nuada and his army of faerie, ghouls and other similar creatures who are attempting to restore to life the golden army which was previously under his father’s control.
