I heard that it's like this all over India not just in this particular case, and that the India road network is actually in very poor condition. I've seen a funny show on which some guy from Britain came to India to build cars with a famous Indian designer. You can see that their road network is full of potholes, but I am sure that with the right kind of money going into their road infrastructure they can improve it, and by doing so, their road safety will improve also. BMW M6 Does 330 Kmh (205 Mph)
You probably heard that on the German Autobahn there is a section where there isn't any speed limit. If you haven't heard of it play Need for Speed, and see how it's like. It won't replace the real thing but it's a start. Not any kind of car can reach these speeds.
